Selling direct on the new website.
It’s been three years since I updated the website. It was just a simple page, offering a sign up form for Dark Days, the prequel to the Ryan Weller Thriller Series, along with a couple of other pages to introduce myself and the books in the series. Now, the website is more of an interactive place for selling direct to you. While you’re there, check out extras like maps where each book takes place, and the guns and boats in the books. Not all of them are on the site, just what Ryan and his crew use the most.
I wanted the site to be informative, but the main purpose is to sell books and bring in new customers. Moving forward, the books are available wide through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, and a handful of other retailers. However, my main focus is on selling direct to you through my own store. While I’m not firing Jeff Bezos and Amazon, I’m branching out on my own.
Selling direct is a bit more work but worth it to bring you all RWTS discounts and sales I can’t offer on the other retailers. Selling direct has a downside as well. Customers know and trust Amazon and the other big retailers. I have to build that trust with you all and let you know you can download a book from my store to any device you own, or purchase a paperback to be delivered right to your house. Book Update
Dark Country is at the editor and I expect a mid-May release. Dark Order is underway and about 25K in length which I expect to weigh in around 70-80k.

Honestly, I used a web design company to set things up so everything is optimized. Openings take longer if you’re using big picture files or it could be a something with the host servers. My suggestion would be to Google the problem and see what the Internet has to say. Nine times out of ten that’s what I do and I find an answer to my problem.

Finding information on selling direct for authors is kind of like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but its out there. I’ll write more on the subject later.
